The 1920s saw significant work by Mufti Sadiq to spread Islam in the US. This included inaugurating America's oldest mosque (Masjid Sadiq in Chicago) & delivering 50 lectures in one year. It also saw the start of the Muslim Sunrise, the longest running Muslim journal in America.

When I was younger, I read about Prophet Muhammad & felt a connection to his mission. He cared deeply about equality, generosity & humility, all values I hold dear. His life, to me, boils down to the Golden Rule: “treat others how you wish to be treated.” I am convinced of it.
