    Seconded. We encourage all our mentees to build a front-end for their DS projects. Showing off your project by letting people interact with it really makes you stand out.

    unsolicited data science career advice: learn Flask + just enough React to be able to build functional front-ends for your DS work + just enough CSS to make it look not-horrible, it's like having a superpower (and it's not that hard)

    Just published my latest in . It's about all the things that companies want data scientists to know, but that data scientists usually don't know. It probably explains ~70% of post-interview rejections IMO.
