After Mac Mail, and gmail in the browser, I tried Spark and Airmail, but I've been with Mimestream since the early betas and it ticks all my gmail boxes (and more)

Mimestream is the best mail client I have used on any platform, ever. It’s great and I can’t wait for the mobile client.
