Nice, but how do you enable that formatting bar? I can't see it when I update.

The formatting bar can be shown by pressing the "Aa" button in the toolbar. Additionally, code formatting is also available in the Format > Code menu, with keyboard shortcuts ⇧⌘I (for inline code) and ⇧⌘B (for a block). Hope that helps!

Thanks. It helps a lot and so obvious when you call it out. It does make me wonder why I’d never clicked that before. I guess it’s off by default and there’s no “show format bar” option/shortcut except for that button?

That’s a very valid point, there should be a menu item (and key equivalent) for “Show/Hide Format Bar". We’ll open a ticket to get this added! Thanks :)
