Hey 👋🏻 Is there a way to have the “x” shortcut to select messages from here and there in the mailbox? Or have I missed it?

Hey Philippe!
1. You can press Shift and use the up/down arrow to select a range, but you can't skip ones.
2. You can hold down Command and use the mouse to click on random messages to add them to your selection
AFAIK there is no keyboard-driven way to random-select in macOS.
