This book is really a good math book for the general reader. Somehow, finds a way to make sure you enjoy math proof. The visuals are also so beautiful.

Really grateful that is going public with this and naming names despite the risk. Her 2016 essay "The Call-to-Whiteness" is extremely clarifying and helped me understand what happens when Black journalists try to tell the truth.

If you're a math geek, I highly recommend "Math Without Numbers" by (Milo Beckman). It's an insanely thought-provoking collection of lessons that both I and my 12-year-old love. This should be required reading for humans who fear integrals and "higher" math. (Yes, you.)
