In 1968, the USSR occupied Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia didn't fight back. I believe it should have. Instead, it suffered 21 years of decline under communism, effects of which are still felt to this day. I cannot express how much I root for the Ukrainians. Heroiam slava!

My advice to people who are trying to figure out what to focus on "full time" in crypto: Get involved with Ethereum's layer 2 ecosystem - I strongly believe it offers the best 'return on investment' from a social, economical and career path perspective. You won't regret it :)

CAD AI would be much more impactful and disruptive than chat AI. I hope someone’s working on it.

Figure out what makes sense and where (if) you want to contribute. I did this myself about 1.5y ago. My conclusion - L2s on Ethereum are the way forward, the most promising of them being StarkNet. Then I went all in.

Yet better than reading what others think, form an independent opinion by yourself. Spend some time learning about various blockchains and the technologies powering them. Look at the projects being built, follow the communities, participate.

I strongly believe some of the most meaningful and impactful work in tech is in crypto. Why? Others have articulated it better than I can, for example by

The JS code is gzipped, base64 encoded, split into Cairo short strings and deployed as a smart contract. When using it on the web, the process is reversed - call the contract, b64 decode, ungzip and it's ready.

Did you know you can put a full JavaScript library on chain? By way of example, here's a simple web page containing the StarkNet logo onchain-js.vercel.app The cool thing is that the rendering engine (p5.js) and the code to draw the logo are both loaded from StarkNet

that for a long time L2s won't be able to fill up the blob space. And hopefully once it starts to get saturated, we'll have full Danksharding 🤞 Blob storage cost is one number which you want to see go down only 📉

Storage var updates are, generally, the most expensive part of a StarkNet transaction, but at under a cent per update, protocols can reasonably start thinking about subsidizing TX costs.
