In 1968, the USSR occupied Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia didn't fight back. I believe it should have. Instead, it suffered 21 years of decline under communism, effects of which are still felt to this day. I cannot express how much I root for the Ukrainians. Heroiam slava!

Imagine not realizing this and building a blockchain specific phone ๐Ÿ™Š

Also: - Native account abstraction allowing your seed to be directly stored in the secure element of your phone. Your iphone will be your hardware wallet, allowing crypto to go mobile first. Hardware wallet as a specific device will be a thing of the past. iykyk

In 15 years, you'll look upon fully-on-chain games, aka Autonomous Worlds, and realize that they were inevitable. They are more: 1. Moddable 2. Analyzable 3. Interoperable 4. Fair 5. Secure 6. Composable with DeFi, DeSoc, and each other Don't ignore nerds on their weekends...

I am looking for a full time software engineering position in Web3. Really want to do smart contract and/or infra work on StarkNet. Anything on-chain NFT related is of interest too. docs.google.com/document/d/17t Looking for compensation in fiat or stables. USA Eastern Timezone.

I'm looking for a visual artist or a designer to do a collab on a generative NFT project. It's a free mint, so you won't get rich, but it will be challenging and fun.

Last month, BBC reported that GOSH, a research hospital in the UK, base edited the genome of a 12-year-old girl, Alyssa, suffering from leukemia. She had failed dozens of therapies and had no more options. Seven months later, she is cancer- free. Not many investors know about it.

My advice to people who are trying to figure out what to focus on "full time" in crypto: Get involved with Ethereum's layer 2 ecosystem - I strongly believe it offers the best 'return on investment' from a social, economical and career path perspective. You won't regret it :)

This is so well articulated: Blockchains are for consensus on arbitrary global state and the coordination of state transitions over time. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ’‹

My understanding has progressed through the following stages: 1. Blockchains are for cryptocurrency. 2. Blockchains are for consensus on arbitrary global state and the coordination of state transitions over time. Cryptocurrency is just a single use case of many. ...

Figure out what makes sense and where (if) you want to contribute. I did this myself about 1.5y ago. My conclusion - L2s on Ethereum are the way forward, the most promising of them being StarkNet. Then I went all in.

Yet better than reading what others think, form an independent opinion by yourself. Spend some time learning about various blockchains and the technologies powering them. Look at the projects being built, follow the communities, participate.

Pizza does a good job at pointing out an issue in the StarkNet ecosystem. Projects on mainnet that don't have verified and open contracts. For AMMs, is the only game in town. So & - wen code?

So instead of writing a high quality review of each AMM I decided to create some second monitor content for y'all and simply ranked the AMMs in a tier list: youtu.be/iiBfvIj2aD8 For those wanting to just see the results, I posted them in the tweet below๐Ÿ‘‡

Shout out to Cartridge who are doing some of the most important and impactful (yet mostly invisible) work in the StarkNet ecosystem.

The JS code is gzipped, base64 encoded, split into Cairo short strings and deployed as a smart contract. When using it on the web, the process is reversed - call the contract, b64 decode, ungzip and it's ready.

The Paradigm/Reth/Akula discourse is extremely tiresome. So many people complaining about โ€œVC steals OSS projectโ€ (actually: VC funds a from-scratch impl and gives it away), nobody asking whether thereโ€™s a reason why they wouldnโ€™t want to work with that person specificallyโ€ฆ

it is pretty common to be able to pivot maintainership of critical open source infrastructure into a job. sometimes when that doesnโ€™t happen itโ€™s not a general statement about the ecosystem but a specific statement about the maintainer
