mmm idk I appreciate you reading my work, but the point I’m making stands with or without their tweet—it’s included only to show that they’ve “focused their ire... on Chesa.” Which it does. so if your only gripe is stylistic, I’d appreciate you not calling me disingenuous.

The article was not about “crime in SF and reactions to a reformist DA.” It was about social media revitalizing debate between political rivals. The specific views of those rivals are wholly irrelevant. I applaud your defense of your guy, but your point here is a non sequitur.
