So many memories of tornado warnings in Minnesota growing up. Mom and 6 kids in our corner of the basement with radio and blankets worrying about dad opening the windows on the above 2 stories.

We never really had many tornadoes in Duluth because of the lake, but the one I remember most was a tornado siren at exactly 1pm on the 1st Wednesday of the month, which is when they normally test all the sirens. We were like, I think this one is real.
