Pricey is relative: a stereo pair costs about as much as a mid-range iPhone or iPad. I use my HomePods 4-6 hours a day, every day, between listening to music and watching TV. For me, I feel like I’ve received good value for my money.

It's pricey in comparison to other smart speakers. But if you're in Apple's ecosystem, it can make sense.
