Company expressed sympathy for key issues I raised when Commission authorized opt-out carrier call blocking, such as clarifying “reasonable analytics” on an ongoing basis, having specific, quick & workable redress process, & informing consumers of blocked call details.

On Friday, I also toured AR's & saw its efforts to combat illegal robocalls while protecting legit calling parties. Not endorsement of company, but saw very sophisticated, multi-layered operations. Anyone seeking to make new robocall policy would be wise to visit.

As I've said, "Robocall is not a bad word": there are good & bad uses of automated calling. Consider new alarm companies' petition seeking to ensure alerts re fire, intruders, & carbon monoxide aren't blocked by overly aggressive call blocking technologies. Makes sense to me.

As promised, back in New York City today with leaders to talk ways to combat Pirate Radio. These “stations” harm consumers by blocking legitimate stations’ emergency alerts, perpetrating scams, and many other harms.
