    I published what I'm calling a "micro-book" this past weekend. It's a very short series of positive affirmations designed to help remind parents that this pandemic is temporary and that our kids will be OK. It's now free on Amazon for a few days.

    The numbers are in for 2020, and we saw 1.46 gigawatts deployed this past year, and we're just beginning to hit the bend of the hockey stick. WoodMac forecasts 7.8 gigawatts annually by 2025. 3/

    We nearly lost our then-newborn to RSV in 2019. I will happily mask up for cold and flu season here on out to prevent hundreds, if not thousands, of readily preventable childhood deaths (and tens of thousands for those 65+)

    Flu and RSV activity are at an all time low. I think we may be on to something with masking and social distancing. Even if distances are relaxed, huge health & economic incentive to continue masks. Many deaths, hospitalizations, illnesses, & missed work prevented.

    COVID-19 deaths are 25% higher than any other week since the pandemic began. For scale, COVID-19 deaths reported this week exceed the CDC's estimate of 22K flu-related deaths during the entire 2019-2020 season.

    If you've got an Audible subscription, you can now listen to Parenting During a Pandemic (all 4 minutes of it!) I wrote it with eReaders in mind, but an Amazon reviewer mentioned listening on Alexa was a good (though short) experience
