    Totally agree with this

    There's a role in public debate for good faith lockdown skepticism. Government is proposing to lock millions in their homes. It's legitimate to ask for the evidence. But you have to actually be interested in the evidence, not just the grift cycle of demanding and rejecting it.

    How is it possible to get so far in life and be this utterly thick?

    Project Fear never gives up over Brexit. If they are so concerned about the UK car industry why have they been so quiet over the collapse of petrol and diesel car sales this year? It took place whilst we were still in the single market and customs union.

    For anyone complaining about the "late" shift in totals toward Democrats in MI, PA, and WI, most of those votes actually came in *first.* It's only because those states' Republican-controlled state legislatures wouldn't allow "pre-canvassing" that they're now being counted last.

    This is great. Baffled by the right calling for an approach that works because of the socialist nature of the society.

    ‘You never hear the Telegraph or the Mail say that we need Swedish levels of sickness benefit to ensure that carriers stay at home and quarantine. Or Swedish levels of housing benefit to ensure that they aren’t evicted from those same homes’

    I wrote this for on why Catholicism, like all other religions, has no place in the civic realm. It garnered a large & almost uniformly hostile response but it has the merit nonetheless of being correct.
