Fully understand. It's also my concern the Corbyn may find ways to back May's deal to avoid a PV (despite the 3% popularity of May's deal with Labour members). Alternatively, I fear he may secretly allow a contingent of Lab MP to back her deal - to wash his hands of it.
-
These are all real concerns I have -- and we need to make the case that Lab backing May's deal (especially without FoM - WTH?) would be far worse for Lab election prospects than Lab backing a PV and taking Brexit on...
-
Nevertheless, in both cases, we need to have good lines of communication with all parts of Labour -- from the MPs to the CLPs, to the Trade Unions, members, commentators on Twitter & print media, Momentum, Labour students and... well, everyone. That's just brute pragmatics.
-
Agreed. But I also think we need to be open about campaigning more as a cross-party movement. As I said in my video Mike a lot of us look up to you and have for a long time... But for example... I'm not Labour because Corbyn supports Brexit.
-
Just a suggestion of course, but maybe think about making a video that would validate, rather than inflame the angry elements of Remain who are not in Labour. Keep in mind, many many people have been made politically homeless by both major party leaders supporting Brexit

Quite. There are certainly trolls in the mix trying to inflame it... don’t know about bots. Needs analysis.

Six out of 10 Labour constituencies voted Leave. Please do not misrepresent the facts.
-
Please explain how I’m misrepresenting facts.
-
Your claim that the majority of Labour back Remain? Or that is what came across...
-
Even in 2016 a majority of Labour supporters (even in Leave constituencies) voted Remain, and the Labour Leave minority is increasingly switching to Remain as they realize they were conned.
-
Yes, a majority of Labour voters did vote Remain. 65% to 35%. It’s well-known. As to constituencies, many Labour-held constituencies voted Leave (because of strong Tory leave vote) even when a majority of Labour voters within it didn’t. The more Labour a seat, the more Remain:pic.twitter.com/jeOJr41Nv8

I note the use of the word ‘probably’ in the graph headline. I accept it is a very complicated issue. All I’m saying is the Labour Party must respect the vote and as I said the majority of Labour constituencies voted Leave.
-
Why must Labour respect the vote?
-
An illegal advisory vote, won by right wing demigods.
