We hit a new unofficial record high at Reno-Tahoe International Airport today which breaks the record of 66°F set February 1, 1934! This is also the earliest in a calendar year that we have been this warm since Reno climate records began in 1888!

per capita showing that countries are not all equally guilty of causing climate change. Shows us where maximum effort is required to reduce emissions as soon as possible. Remember to keep to 1.5˚C we need every single one of these bars to be zero by 2050.

Do you ever think about the importance of place? What makes this spot so popular? Why are the animals passing through right here instead of the various other trails? This definitely isn’t the main trail through this land, so what makes this one special?

Trees take a long time to soak up carbon. And we don’t have that kind of time. That’s we ALSO need immediate cuts in fossil fuel & land use emissions. AND plant trees that can slowly help remove (over many years) some of the carbon we already emitted.
