The terrorists who were responsible for 9/11 were in the country for over a year and most came from Saudi Arabia. They didn't fly 7k miles and the next day carry out the attack. That's a failure of the FBI.

And hasn't the press been telling us for years we brought it upon ourselves by having troops overseas in the ME? So which is it? Having troops in the ME causes terrorists to want to attack us or we need troops in the ME to prevent terrorists from attacking us?
