    Talked to some Ukrainian fighter pilots about how they’ve managed to keep the airspace contested against superior Russian jets. We ended up discussing how more MiG-29s aren’t really what they need.

    If Dan Snyder is found to have been "hiding money that was supposed to be shared among NFL owners," as former WFT VP alleges, hooo boy.

    Corollary to this: if the dinner had been, say, across the street at the Marriott Marquis, would have some juice here. Gridiron booked a non union room.

    A central part of the Gridiron Covid outbreak story is that dozens of people who were in the room, as hotel employees, have been disappeared from the stats. Their employer won’t say if any got sick, probably for business reasons. They probably risk jobs if they speak out.

    A central part of the Gridiron Covid outbreak story is that dozens of people who were in the room, as hotel employees, have been disappeared from the stats. Their employer won’t say if any got sick, probably for business reasons. They probably risk jobs if they speak out.

    And the hotel (finally) responded to my inquiries for comment on the health of the staff. But they refused to say how many worked the event or how many positive tests came back. See statement below.

    Yet another Gridiron attendee

    This AM, woke up with a raspy voice and, out of an abundance of caution, took a PCR test that has come back positive. At this time, the mayor has no other symptoms, but he is already isolating and will be cancelling all public events for the week.

    It's actually even harder than that. Just because a Republican would support a nominee wouldn't mean they would vote to override McConnell's control of the floor.

    FUN FACT: If Republicans control the Senate next year, and Biden submits a nomination for SCOTUS (or any position), and that nominee has the support of 50+ senators… notwithstanding all the nuking that's been done, it could still take 60 votes to get that person confirmed. 1/
