@Lingman I think I'll just not buy it in the first place, rather than twiddling with defaults to turn off their dumb ads. -
@mikeash I understand completely. For me, it's something we need to use at work. not going to shift platforms now. -

@mikeash Saves a lot of "wtf is this spam popup doing on here" type of discussions. -
@Lingman As irritating as that would be for me, I can't imagine the craziness of having something like that pop up in an office!

@mikeash Ouch, I'd been using it for some legacy windows apps I still use but I think I'll be migrating to virtualbox or vmware now. -
@mikeash I was considering it last month, then "settled" for VirtualBox until I knew whether I needed something better. Glad I did! -
