The assertion that certain individuals will not be welcome appears to be in violation of the Hippocratic Oath as well as standing in opposition to the institutions missions and values.

A professional wrote that that. He had to parse his words, think it through and his ultimate quip was a warning of sub par treatment. Attitudes like his further validate your work and writing and make him look like a fool.

A professional who supervises other professionals, no less. This certainly removes all doubt - if there were any - as to whether the institution’s culture bears the blame for the failures detailed in the reporting.

Keep up the good work! Patients should know about programs, drugs, and devices that can harm them. Doctors should not be on a pedestal where they can do no wrong. This letter smacks of unprofessional conduct, an issue that perhaps the Texas Medical Board should review.

This. It's abandonment. I can't imagine leaving one of my patients hanging when they need urgent care. I hope none of their ER doctors agree.
