shadow dom AND tab multi select? is today some sort of Nightly-Christmas?
In today's Nightly, if you enable multi-select tabs (browser.tabs.multiselect), you can select multiple tabs with Cmd/Ctrl (or ranges with Shift), and then can right-click to close the selection! A work-in-progress via GSoC student Abdoulaye O. LY!

Bug 1458007 is the root bug. Bug 1458007 added the close capability. Note that this is still very much disabled by default.

Plans to drag multiple tabs to new window or existing? Not a huge feature, but one of the most noticable things missing from Firefox when I tried to switch from Chrome.

Dunno if that's coming, but with the mockups here https://mozilla.invisionapp.com/share/8GHTWQGUD5P#/screens … (really heavy page btw) close tabs now has a sub menu, so "to the left" may have a greater possibility to be added. Tab multi select is not a big reason I use Chrome, but it is a nice feature. (And for the record, I use lots of browsers, not just Chrome.)

This will be great when we can hook into extensions too. Currently they hack the "highlighted" state a little.
