The distance between 2021 and Star Wars is the same as the distance between 1980 and The Great Depression. A reminder in case you’re talking to a younger person who doesn’t know or care who Luke Skywalker is, for example.

It was a great pleasure to talk to on these topics that are close to his heart. He has been a huge inspiration throughout these years with all the knowledge he has shared.

Turns out debugging skills are transferable. Decided to dig in and found the root cause of an electrical problem in family car (random 5amp spikes when car off draining battery) It was ultimately caused by the decidedly non electrical bike rack. That was a fun one.

To my friends working in auto looking for that next hot new sensor to add to their car of the future, let me suggest the “you left something on the roof sensor.” You can have that idea for free.

This was a talk I gave in Tehran and was such a great experience. I hope to return there one day and wish all the people I met there the best, especially those that are struggling with the choices of their government.

35 years ago ( 1986 ) I was in the early stages of developing my first commerical shoot-em-up game 'Galaforce' for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron. A couple of years ago I made the full 6502 assembly source code for the game available on GitHub.

“Over 90% of consumers have green eyes. (See the report.)” The market for obviously and self-evidently fake bullshit is pretty strong. I mean if your already investing in Bitcoin and NFTs, and you’re looking for some new opportunities.
