I searched and found that Elon had started an experimental school for his kids called Ad Astra. I thought, yes! at least there’s something. Now, I just need to wait for it to scale. If it didn't happen in a couple years, I decided I'd build a new kind of school myself.

During newborn naps, I researched everything from homeschooling to unschooling. Then, I thought who is someone today that would be the best at thinking about educating their kids from first principles and try to solve it? Probably, Elon Musk.

When my daughter was born 20 months ago, I went on a research binge about her education. The modern education system does not set kids up well. I know she's not going to school for a while but I did not want be forced to eventually put her into a system I didn't believe in.
