I agree. In general, disclosing bugs in this style is about publicity not security. However, disclosure as a movement over the past 20 years has improved security and vendor handling of bugs.
Imagine a world where nobody made PoCs anymore. Every changelog would look like Cisco's: " Bug that causes crash"
