Slack actually does / replaces a lot of things: - Group chat - Private chat - Voice calls - Intranet - File sharing - Basic PM

Maximum impact with minimal features. Yammer got bloated, where Slack remains pretty lean & fast (so far, anyway).

I just don't think we'll see a monolith "one SaaS to rule them all", because it's so hard to do well.
