Getting a delivery to the house in Japan has been surprisingly difficult. The delivery guy couldn't find the house after two attempts.

It also seems like you have to be home to receive the package, unlike the U.S. where they'll leave stuff on the porch.

After two phone calls, I just gave up on the process and had them ship to a local pick-up facility, just down the street.

When I called the shipping company, the guy said "when I looked it up on the Internet, it was a parking lot. Do you live in a parking lot?"
