I’m definitely better at my job because of things I’ve learnt from him. It’s hard to reconcile the idea of someone as the professional mentor vs the (horribly flawed) person.
I’m always going to advocate first for the employees. But I’m also reminded of this “ally to all” model by Kenji Yoshino, I truly wish Jason and David can find the courage that can help them grow from this incident instead of shutting down the world and freezing in their corner.
