Can't speak to if they're still using it, but ~a year ago Baremetrics switched to HelpScout (after 6+ years on Intercom) and overall was a really great move.
If you're email first, @helpscout is for you.
If you're chat first, @intercom is still the best.
Can't go wrong with @helpscout - best of the best, great product, great support, and great company behind it too.
