Before the pandemic loneliness was a rising issue. It will continue to be one. Most folks listen whilst doing mundane work. Which is the majority of the working world. Also you don't need that many creators to entertain thousands maybe even millions of people

I’m still not convinced that social audio will replace (or significantly reduce) podcast listening.
It’s less “audio entertainment” and more “networking event.”
Also: live entertainment scales in certain niches (video games) but not others.
