So what does this mean for SaaS founders, or creators selling digital products and subscriptions?
Volume
Profit.
Those are your two levers.
How badly do people want it? That's volume.
What's your price and costs? That's profit.

Low-volume example:

If you want to make $10k / month...
And your margins are 80%,
but you can only attract 5 sales,
your price is going to need to be $2,5001 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 2 polubionePokaż ten wątek -
High-volume example:

If you want to make $10k / month...
And your margins are 80%,
and your price is $25,
you'll need 400 sales/month
most SaaS is high-volume (~400 customers to earn $10k / month)1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 8 polubionychPokaż ten wątek -
Generally, you're either in a low-volume business (with a high price), or a high-volume business (with low prices). And (again, generally):
Most consulting/services businesses are low-volume/high-price
Most SaaS/digital products businesses are high-volume/low-price2 odpowiedzi 0 podanych dalej 5 polubionychPokaż ten wątek -

Check out his interview on
@thenineclub - you may be surprised that game licensing is not the largest factor in his wealth. He was the face of so many brands around the time he landed the 900. Also, the THPS series took significant losses prior to the recent remake.1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -
Then think about the Shaun white snowboarding game... that probably did not lend much of a hand to Shaun White’s financial success. Same with some BMX pro games similar to THPS. There are so many other factors to their finances than just a video game.

No idea about endorsements vs. the games etc. but also not totally sure if I would agree the game is the absolute reason why he is wealthy.

Sure, I’m just saying it’s definitely not deck sales! If you compare is video game earnings vs profit from decks there’s no way deck sales earns more.

Yeah totally. When you had your shop did you sell skate gear too? Whenever I skated, I rarely saw anyone with birdhouse decks lol.
