The only productivity advice that's consistently worked for me is:
"Don't do so much."
Fewer projects
Fewer meetings
Fewer commitments
Fewer things to maintain
It's idealistic, but I often think about @harari_yuval's description of hunter-gatherers:
"[Farmers] worked harder [and their] lives were generally more difficult and less satisfying. Hunter-gatherers spent their time in more stimulating ways. "

Since then, I've been pursuing this kind of calm.

@mijustin total long shot, but any interest in beta testing a new product that redefines "productivity" to be more about what's actually sustainable for busy adults? 
Productive = getting a lot of things done. Effective = getting the right things done.
