True. But here's the tricky bit: most software is bad because it's quite hard to make good software.https://twitter.com/mijustin/status/1324478333086765062 …

Remember my background is bootstrapping 3 co’s.
At Carbonmade, we were 3 people for the first 2 years and better than our VC backed competition... until we weren’t.
Great software simply requires more people on *average* these days. I have no doubts there.
Exceptions exist! -
What would you say are the main drivers of this? Increased division of labor? (Frontend/backend/devops/etc) More devices to support? More API:s? Or just higher demands from customers?

Yeah, I think this again depends on scope and focus. We have a great platform and happy users with an incredibly small team (mostly customer service). And even though we have only one dev, we've hired
@bitpusher for dev ops. Which has been awesome.Dziękujemy. Twitter skorzysta z tych informacji, aby Twoja oś czasu bardziej Ci odpowiadała. CofnijCofnij

So much software is still bad.
Another thing:
Most great software requires a team and it's hard for bootstrappers to afford to pay for a team.
