This is a good point: IAP really doesn’t make sense for multi-platform SaaS apps. If I’m on iPhone, and I switch to Android, what happens? https://hey.com/apple/iap/ pic.twitter.com/FLIeYQXl9o

Incorrect. If they forget to cancel on Apple (1), then log into their account on Android (2), they wouldn’t be asked for a payment; they have a valid payment tag on their account, independent of platform. They wouldn’t be paying twice (there is no 3)
If the customer chooses to move their payment, they can. I pay for Netflix through Apple IAP; if I choose to, I could cancel, go to http://Netflix.com and repay from there. My account wouldn’t stop working in between those things unless I let my payment expire.
...I’d notice that pretty quickly because it would tell me I don’t have a subscription.
It's pretty straight forward. They simply login on the new device and use the product/service. We don't go prompting them to pay *again*.
Right. Exactly. It’s a non-issue for the user.
Sorry man, I'm not sure I can agree with you here. That's like buying a new house and forgetting to change the names on the utility bills. You're responsible for the changes you make.
When you say "you" are you talking about the user? Because, if you're the vendor *serving those customers* you will get the complaints directed at you. Saying "it's just the customer's responsibility" is equally asinine, when the vendor could simply manage all this in Stripe.
