Meaning, a product can be well-built, they can have the best marketing person, they can have the perfect launch, and attract thousands of users... but the underlying idea has no “pull.” The ultimate outcome is most influenced by the idea; not by how hard (or smart) people work.

What progress are you referring to? I was talking about ideas only. I’m trying to see if there is a different angle that explains why ideas are not easy but doesn’t seem like that’s what you are trying to explain. I still believe deriving good ideas from observations is easy
