In an interview, @richardbranson shared how he evaluates new ideas:
“When we start a business from scratch, we put our toe in the water. If the water doesn't feel too cold, then we start building it slowly. But if it doesn't feel right, we knock it on the head pretty quickly.”

It's probably my biggest bit of advice for early entrepreneurs. Kill ideas quickly, be married to running a business not any specific business. I got strange looks at startup events in the early days because I treated my ideas as experiments rather than the greatest thing ever!

On the flip side, too many people quit businesses because it feels too hard or they don’t see a path to a billion. The doubt has crept in multiple times for us in the past 2.5 years, yet we’ve continued to push forward to a mid six-figure business.

I really like to hear that, and I know the feeling. We have been pumped full of stories about unicorn-or-bust that we see a steadily growing business (which is the ultimate accomplishment for ANY business attempt) and think "hmmm is that it?". It's time to normalize this again.
