Yup! Lots of folks. I have tried meditation when I wake up in the middle of the night, but it has t worked as well.

Preface: I recognize that placebos can be clinically effective, especially for outcomes like "feel more relaxed." I'm also totally open to being disproven. Your leading recommendation in this article is snake oil.

I quit decaf coffee recently which also helped. Some research found 15-30% of the caffeine of regular coffee in it. I got withdrawal for a few days so seems legit, and sleep (specifically waking around 4am and not being able to go back off) improved.

Seems odd that *nobody* mentioned exercise. Specifically, if you’ve been getting less than before the insomnia started, or alternatively if you haven't increased it--doesn't have to HIIT or intense cardio; a mile is a mile, as they say--try adding it to your day, especially early
