The other presumptions, on any of this, is that we should be `opt-out` by default in stead of `opt-in`. Which…IMO GDPR is trying to do. Another thing to note, GDPR is the first step in a lot more legislation. Think of it as a vessel to carry better laws in place easier later.

IMO a relevant example would be this. Let’s say browsers begin to expose your battery life by make it accessible to apps/sites. Is it your job to turn that setting off? Or is it a companies job to not use that against you? Too often we allow co’s to do bad shit.
