Perhaps not as much as your worry mind wants you to think. Software/marketing are also complex but much easier when broken down into manageable things.

Complexity in terms of HR. Meaning: managing one person is often as much work as managing ten. In the past, my initial hires were a huge amount of work (compared to the output received). It eventually evened out, but then I had the anxiety of ongoing salaries.

For us it was actually an unexpected positive - we were suddenly better able to focus on the high-touch aspects and long-term goals rather than just the daily tasks.
