A lot of bootstrappers think they have a marketing problem: "I need to get better at marketing." But, it's more likely that you have a product problem: "Do customers really want this? Do they care enough about this to switch to a new solution?"

I don't disagree. But as much as I hate unsolicited emails/calls, I've discovered dozens of new products that seem interesting. Those that I would look into, not having been featured on Forbes or showing up as #1 in Google SERP.

Size of reach is different than actual reach. The product-fit defines the market, which is the size. Marketing is how to get the reach. Worked with a startup to activate their partners to co-market. Increased user base by over 50% in 6 months. No change in product or market.
