There's no getting around the initial sweat equity unless you're plugged in to some money contacts with a high degree of trust in you, and low demands. Hell, even then you still have to put in sweat equity, in any business, product or not! :)

My best guess is that whatever I build or sell next will be vastly less stressful by virtue of having a day job now, and seed-funding from my salary, instead of sacrificing $130 every hour I spend building it.
