Last weekend, I went to see @John_Fogerty live.
I heard about it in the newspaper.
I heard about it on Facebook Events and John's FB page.
I got an email from John's newsletter.
I got a notification from @Bandsintown. (That's a lot of touchpoints)1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 4 polubionePokaż ten wątek -
So why did I pay to see @John_Fogerty live?
Because I grew up listening to CCR. In the USA alone CCR has sold 26 million records.
John is a legend. He's been a star for a long time.
I paid to see him live because I know his hits. There's lots of nostalgia at play.2 odpowiedzi 0 podanych dalej 6 polubionychPokaż ten wątek -

Having seen both, can confirm there is very little overlap in fan bases.

Lol.
I sat down in my seats at Fogerty, turned to the guy beside me:
"What was the last concert you were at?"
"Hmm, Goatsblood in Vancouver."
