    Building on this idea - when a company raises money via selling equity, the cash they raise is owned by the equity holders. When a cryptocurrency project raises by cash by selling tokens, that cash is owned by the founders/team, *not* the token holders.

    1/ A simple misconception is to compare timelocked cryptocurrency to corporate treasury stock: they're very very different.
