The creation of wealth (and a higher standard of living) comes from growth in productivity of labor, mized with resources. One of the problems that advanced civilizations face, at least here of earth, is that growth in population actually slows with a higher standard of living..

with that, a vaccuum of wealth creation occurs. What happens if there aren't enough people to continue to create growth?
