it‘s of course great if dating app developers want to do their small part to help, but let’s not pretend vanishing text will make it safe to be a gay man in the middle east. the only thing that will do that is secular, enlightened government.
Why can’t you just trust corporations and act like they’re supposed to do what governments do, Michael? Then, later, when they subvert governments you can act like you’re surprised.
