      when i notice things like this i can’t focus on the movie until i invent a plausible backstory. in this case, all earth life is alien, delivered by that ancient civilization eons ago.

      all the divergent, but basically similar life, in THEIR galaxy actually shares a common, but forgotten ancestor on a single planet (this is also how i think about star trek)
