listen, the speculation game that’s happening today is exciting. i get it. but there is bigger shit happening right now. the nature of money is changing, and with it the gatekeepers of our civilization’s wealth.

i would ask you what kind of world you live in, a world of free exchange or a technological dystopia in which all the world’s wealth is controlled by a few (less than today) people. but i really don’t think it matters what any of us want.

the only reason our analog trash coin has survived this long is competition has been illegal. given the choice, no consumer will choose a currency controlled by the whims of a single person - there’s no stability there.
