I've got to say, being gay at 30 is normalized - is legalized! - in a way I never imagined possible at 15. feeling good. happy pride. :)

I think the remaining progress is cultural and not as much political anymore.

@pmarca For one, many states don’t allow lgbtq people to be foster parents...

in many states, you can still be evicted, lose your job, etc for being gay. So, I do think there's still a ways to go.

He’s not referring to more equality for different kinds of people. He’s saying true, full equality for LGBT people.

I am pretty sure federal law applies there too - you should come down for a visit sometime.

Animal rights is a perpetual nonstarter. The movement has been around for over a century with a certain lack of success.
