i cant wrap my brain around the idea that twitter is somehow more poetic for having a 140/280 c limit; i post on here how i talk but no one would call that poetry
the rule forces you to compress stories / concepts / memories / feelings / and even charisma into a single bite. the most successful attempts at this we call poetry. and i didn’t say we were all good at it!

i understand that but i can’t agree that twitter, not hip hop, causes a resurgence of poetic forms in the culture

I think that the test should be if you can fit the words in a 4x4 grid.
