yes but also it is just not a great feeling to read your work verbatim in someone else’s substack. he could have just actually curated, with quotation marks and links, and everyone would have felt complimented.

Good curators always find an audience. Biggest mistake people make is thinking they are original and must always put “their” take first. Good sign that someone will last is if they do book reviews. Most “writers” too arrogant to do that. To humble themselves to another’s work.
