i'm not criticizing the new CEO, i'm just offering a different perspective on jack, who i believe was doing much more behind the scenes than we realize
Things move fast. The day Dorsey resigned half of Twitter was maligning his leadership. 24 hours later it’s already obvious how important he was.
So why did he vote for the guy?
Agree, he’s an idealist who got caught in the machine. Even CEO / founder status is no match for that. I keep thinking of the glory days of 2011/12 when these young social tech guys were the heroes of the day who were going to *change the world* They sure did.
Agreed I think his absence will leave a noticeable vacuum. His detractors will see now if he was as culpable as they thought.
I've changed my opinions on him multiple times over the years. In general, he seems to be one of the guys fighting for first principles. Time will tell.
