i didn’t know to watch for them, and i don’t agree at all. they looked unhappy almost the whole time. i genuinely thought they were part of the act, and was confused when the show ended and they didn’t do a staged heckle or something.
I didn't really notice them (even though I was looking for them). But if they didn't like the show, who cares? They're just random people, probably kind and possibly uncertain about how to react to the show. I hope they're doing well.
Tbh we are profiling them. There is a chance you are right. But it feels more likely they are there with an agenda.

I didn’t know to watch for them, but were noticeable early on. They weren’t amused, which at times made it more amusing for me. It takes a lot of energy not to laugh at chapelle.
i’m kinda looking for them but i’m like 7 white claws deep after MNF and the giants winning game three…the first time i really saw them they reluctantly laughed, but still clapped, at the joke when he talked about beating up a lesbian. i’d say they were good sports.
